Xtra Xray is a small, focused diagnostic service in Delhi NCR. We do two things — portable X-ray and home ECG — and we do them for people who can't, or shouldn't, leave the bed.
For decades, getting an X-ray meant getting to the X-ray. A stretcher, an ambulance, a transfer in and out of a hospital bay — for patients who are critically ill, recently operated on, or simply too frail to be moved, all of it is risk on top of risk.
We started Xtra Xray because that calculus felt wrong. The equipment moves. Modern portable X-ray units shoot films of clinical quality. ECG machines fit in a backpack. The radiologist works from a screen, not a room. There was no reason — beyond inertia — that we should still be making sick people travel for routine images.
So we packed the equipment, trained the technicians, partnered with an NABL-certified lab, and started turning up at front doors. Two years and 2,400 visits later, this is what we do every single day across Delhi NCR.
Every visit is scoped on the call. The technician knows the protocol, the patient's condition, and the building before they leave the depot.
Films are read by a certified radiologist, not by a referring physician guessing from a phone screen. Reports are issued on lab letterhead from an NABL-accredited facility.
Palliative care, post-op recovery, chronic conditions — these have rhythms. Our technicians are trained to slow down, to wait, to retake without complaint.
Soft copy on WhatsApp within 24 hours. Hard film and printed report by courier the next day. For urgent reads, we have a same-evening pathway.
A short history of how we got from a single rented unit to a working roster.
We cover every major sector across the National Capital Region. Travel time is built into your booking — no hidden charges within these zones.

We use Allenger portable units — the same gear in use in tertiary hospitals across India. Compact, low-radiation, and reliable enough to live in the back of a van.
